White House official: US President Donald Trump has not yet made any new decisions on new Russia sanctions.
Senator Graham, Republican of South Carolina and a sponsor of the sanctions bill and one of Mr. Trump's biggest supporters in the Senate, said the Senate could "start moving" next week to impose new punitive sanctions on Russia because of the lack of progress on a ceasefire in Ukraine.
The European Commission is expected to propose direct sanctions on tankers that violate the G7 price cap on Russian oil, adding 40 entities to its Russia sanctions list.
